Pro tip = when you decide to remodel a kitchen = make sure no one lives in the freaken house. We are cooking dinner on a gas stove set up on a wooden table, did dishes in the bathroom sink… And this is only day 1 of a 2 week renovation…

It took our builders twice as long as they’d said. Hopefully yours are a little better with their forecast…

yea if you going to have renovations at a busy section rather be away while that happens. Kitchen is the worst to renovate.

Current state - the fun part is the water leak at the tap fitting - its actually under the fitting so we suspect someone knocked the pipe :s
The rest looks worse than it is. This week the shelves are going in, next week is the counter tops. Mum and I will most likely paint the tiles an off white over xmas

We lived in the same apartment for 15 years and in the last 5 years we kept petitioning the landlords to fix the kitchen cupboards, real live 20 cm long mushrooms kept growing out of the wall into them. They never got fixed. 2 Months ago we moved out and into a house. The old apartment is 200m away. Now I see that they replaced the entire kitchen cupboards/sinks in that apartment. Something we asked for for so many years.
Oh well.

the Split personality of my boss has struck again today, well actually it started yesterday. She keeps saying she told me to do stuff when she hasnt, when in fact she said no she will be doing them for x y z. when i tell her that is not how it went and try and explain to her i get told i need to learn to remember better. i have never ever not remembered worked stuff ever and i make notes and put reminders to remember stuff. today i was 20 min late because of traffic and because i did not message her this is an issue cause she depends on me to be on time and yada yada yada. which is a valid point, cause is hould have messaged her but i didnt because there is no meetings planned etc or anything urgent happening today. now its like im going to have to give you a warning cause i take these things quite seriously. so i am like ok fine write one. then she is upset because im not showing that i am upset about her wanting to give me a warning letter.
Now she has left for a dentist appointment and i have nothing to do and she will only be back by 12. The stuff i could do i need her to tell me how she wants them done cause my way is never correct, and i dont want to have a fight about why did i do it this way and not her way when i dont know what her way is.
I have never met a person as crazy as this and i have met a few crazies in my life.
