she also keeps remembering stuff incorrectly and even if i have written proof that she is remembering incorrectly she will say but you said x or y and i told you this or that … “remember?” only what she remembers is correct.
How do you deal with someone like that. She even went and stood without petrol yesterday because she could not remember when her petrol light came on.

I doubt she’ll go for this, but get everything in writing. If it’s communicated verbally and you write it down, ask her if it was written down correctly, and get her to sign or initial it.

i just keep a running “diary” of sorts taking down as much detail as possible so that i can cover my own ass.
I actually just want to record her but if i had play back a voice note to her she would flip and probably attack me

Maybe start reading back what you wrote down just to get a verbal confirmation. But give it a bit of time, like after an hour, find her and just ask for clarification by reading back what you wrote. Be borderline obnoxious about it, do it for every last detail.
It won’t help, I know… But eventually she’ll snap and tell you “I don’t have time to go over everything twice”. You can then tell her “I don’t have time to redo everything every time you change your mind”.
Ok, probably not the best advice either… I’ve been doing that kind of thing with my bosses, who are married, but never communicate anything, and they change their minds every 5 minutes. I tell them I’m not doing anything on big projects without having sign off from both of them. But I’m gone at the end of the year, so I have nothing to lose.

J what i also do is a get her to dictate things to me and then i type them up.
What i have also seen is she will like scan emails and sh!t for keywords and then my inferences from them instead of properly reading them. How she doesnt make more mistakes in her work i just dont know… Hopefully i can find other employment soon, cause i have been sending out my cv like crazy.

Day4 of stomach affliction. It’s getting better, as times between toilet trips are now 6 hours, instead of 2. Saw lots of Lisbon today and ran into another Afrikaner on the street attending Web Summit. He’s all the way from Sweden. You can pick out the attendees by the trendy armband they all have on and you kinda feel a bond with them already… Tomorrow is opening day with a live stream from Edward Snowden (from Russia) and live talks at the main stage from some tech big shots. And Jayden Smith.
