Sometimes you disregard how convenient a wireless controller on PC is.
On anything. Not only PC. I prefer wireless mice. Looking for a good RGB, mechanical, wireless keyboard one day as well. The wire on my current one is cluttering my desk…
Wireless keyboards and mice have two issues for me :
- They have batteries that will inevitably run out WHILE i’m playing something online
- Slight input lag which can be noticeable in certain titles

I don’t game much online and I always have a stack of batteries readily available. I’ve also never perceived the input lag on my G602.
It’s small margins, but it’s enough to be noticable in SOME games (although these are just controllers in Windows)

I’m surprised that the Dualshock 4 Bluetooth has less inputlag than the Dualshock 4 wired. Would never have guessed that.

Has to do with the polling rate of the DS4, it’s super high and is also why the battery usage is so high

The average (median) reaction time is 215 milliseconds for a human; Which is why input lag especially if you’re at the higher end of the spectrum (20ms input lag - Base of ~10ms + 10ms) it really starts becoming noticeable.
Logitech mice perform within the ~3~6ms range for click latency as their polling rate is extremely high which means it performs around the DS4 BT range.

I would love to own a wireless mouse and TKL Keyboard. Wireless mice are just really pricey.
I want to eventually upgrade to an Xbox One controller, from my current 360 controller (black).

Do you repeat-play games?
As an example: I’ve currently playing GTA IV. I played it at least 6 times on my old PC.
I’ve also repeat-played Far Cry 2 and 3 at least 2wice.
