I think it’s fair to say the powers-that-be have decided to keep MyGaming around for posterity. The front-end publishing system is being used to train new journalists (for MyBroadband), it looks like, and posting has been disabled on the forum.

Dear Unisa Student

The University is aware that there are several examination question papers from the October/November 2019 examination session which have been compromised.

This matter is being investigated and the investigation is at an advanced stage. Unisa has identified individuals who have compromised the integrity of our examinations and the necessary measures to address the situation will be implemented in the very near future.

It is important to note that the University has also identified several students who have been communicating on WhatsApp/telegram groups regarding the availability and purchasing of examination question papers. These cases are being followed up by the SAPS.

Students are warned that any participation in WhatsApp/ telegram groups or any other actions which may compromise the integrity of the examination process will be disciplined and may also be criminally charged. In addition, students found to have participated in compromising the integrity of the exams or any of the University’s assessment processes will be sanctioned. Such sanctions may include permanent expulsion from the University of South Africa and from all other South African universities.

If you become aware of any individuals who are involved in such processes, please report it to the Whistleblower on the following contact details.

Gotta love unisa

Not just them, sadly. Saw Adam Habib on Twitter today responding to allegations of bias at Wits. Apparently a B.Ed student was given a full summary about what was going to be in the exam by one of the lecturers or something.

@SIGSTART I know for a fact my paper was available for sale 2 days before the exam - R1200 for it. I just took a screenshot of the sms and passed it along to unisa. Just to cover my ass.
