Good old Cape Town traffic mixed with Eskom load shedding. Been sitting for an hour now driving a 700m strip of road and the road ahead looks equally bad. I suspect my 23.1km commute home wil end up being around 2.5 hours today…

It sucks hey. Same in Joburg. The roads come to a standstill when it rains and then add load shedding and it’s like you are moving backwards.

Dude… Aren’t there water restrictions in effect? 
When I was in Cape Town and load shedding came back earlier this year it was a nightmare. I no longer travel without an audio book ready to go.

So it took me 2 hours and 20 minutes to get home. I saw the power coming back on and the traffic lights becoming active again. Traffic was instantly alleviated.
