The boss is not so softly screaming from his office because his laptop is slow . . . .
We just updated the fucking thing. i have no idea what else to do

have you checked whats running in the back ground. Most windows 10 PCs do this stupid thing when it uses 100% off the Hard drive slowing the PCs Down alot.
Just check what is happening in the task manager. Best place to start when a PC is going slo. Is it losing connection to a WIFI network or Ethernet connection ?

He is just impatient and does stupid things . . . .
Today it was literally renaming files, then for some reason or another he will remove the file extension so I have to sit and guess is it a word or pfd file./ . .
He also sits and if the server folder doesnt open immediately he sits and clicks on it 10000000 times and cant figure out that is slowing the pc down.
The main issue he has to deal with is the fact he is on wifi on the server not via a cable since we cannot run another cable.

Untick “File name extensions” in the File Explorer View menu. That way he won’t see the extensions and won’t be able to remove them when he overtypes his new file name.

Ya, I’ve actually got the tunes pumping right now. I just have had a hectic allergy day and need to sit down for a while. All this TP shoved up my nose, I’m not getting enough oxygen to my brain right now…
If it weren’t so unsanitary, with all the TP shortage crap going on, it’d probably be cheaper to stuff R10 notes up my schnoz…
