so the hubby and i are having a difference of opinion…
looking at this picture below on the corona cases in the usa. The use of the “<” marked at the green arrow is according to me wrong. It should show 50 000 > as that is the figure where there are more than 50k cases. He thinks they used the < sign to indicate that the numbers are not complete yet thats why they used that symbol. The better symbol to use should probably have been the + sign dont you thin?
What do you guys think? who is wrong here?
Why does my skin do this on my hand! The skin underneath is so sensetive! And no I dont think I am a lizard people.
Do you wash your hands a lot or does your hands do this during this time of year? it looks like dermatitis…
Prep can help with this or coconut oil scrub.
The info graphic is correct, it indicates any amount greater than 50 000. That’s why the “smaller” side is pointing to the 50k.
only really at work but that is like 3 times then when I get home and then shower later at night. but atm with lock down only in the mornings at at night then perhaps when doing dishes.
isnt that the smaller than symbol (<)? the greater than symbol is (>) ?
I think they’re trying to say that the larger number is unknown. So 50000 is less than the unknown number.
It looks like left over wood filler.
then it could def be dermatitis. Something in one of the disinfectants is not working with you skin.
even though you are probably tempted to peel the skin dont. just let it shed naturally. cause you risk infection in the skin if you peel the loose skin and you perhaps break the skin.
That makes sense.
Also the preceding categories go from the at least number to the at most number. So to keep the format the same they put the at least number on the left (the 50k)
A dam must be all the dish washing I have been doing.
It would have freaked people out to say 50000 - infinity
What do you use?
Sunlight. but with all the bread making I washed a lot more dishes while making bread.
Wish me luck I am going outside! I need veggies - our little garden cant keep up so I need to get some veg
Don’t go so early I went at 3pm and there was almost nobody in the shops. But everytime I go early I see a line.
The graph is semi-correct, they are trying to indicate “more than/greater than 50 000” using that sign < but honestly i think the + sign should have been the one that should have been used to indicate “more than 50 000” as that is what I believe they are trying to convey.
The way I was taught that sign works is like this:
“smaller number < greater number”
“greater number > smaller number”
Yeah it would have been better using a ‘+’ sign but they do have the 50,000 on the lower side of the ‘<’ sign so it’s correct I guess.
It used to be “there’s an app for that”. Now it’s becoming “there’s a game for that”.
