Since yesterday we’ve cosied up in the cold weather. Had the fireplace going most of the day and a nice braai with a mountain of meat. Now the fireplace is at full blast again.

We dont even use heaters, way too expensive. Electric blankets only.

Our house in winter becomes so cold that even the GSD’s want blankets and they actually like cold. I tend to sit under blankets, wear at least 4 layers of clothing and hot water bottle before turning the heater on
