Yeay for ad AI. One day you will see things like that follow you around, wherever you go.
It’s just who I am
But doesn’t seem as comfy as a nice leather or gaming chair
Youi are so very special
Leather chairs can get hot and sweaty in summer.
Oh, yay.
It’s much better!
Nooooo! If it hits stage 2 then we won’t have power from 8pm.
Eskom just knows that I will have a proper gaming evening for the first time in a while.
It really is. I had a nice black/black Vertagear SL4000 at our Centurion office (which has now been donated to our new development manager there, seeing as I’m stuck in Cape Town for the foreseeable future) and this chair is much more comfortable.
Woop! Woop!
Five day weekend for me \o/
Nice, enjoy! I hope you’ll have electricity during that period.

Mornin’ all
Rough week here with the allergies and such. Got sent home to rest on Tuesday, only to keep being woke up by the old bosses cronies asking for idiotic things.
Basically, I sent the old boss a very clear and professional email telling him that he needs to transition his emails and website by June 15th, or they will cease to function, and that he needs to transfer his domain by August or it will be up for sale publically. This was back in the 3rd week of May.
So I get a call Tuesday from his receptionist. I told her it was all in the email I sent in May. She asked if I could resend it to her, and I said I’d be happy to. Then I went back to bed. I was sick.
Not long later, while in a deep sleep, she calls back asking for the password to my domain/hosting account. I told her I can’t give that out. She gets really excited and tells me I can email it, or whatapp it, or… I interrupt saying “I said I can NOT give it to you”, and it ends up with her saying she can get the guy setting up the website to contact me. I said this would be find.
A few seconds later, the old boss phones, asking “What’s with the secrecy?”. Of course, I kept professional, but I wasn’t about to waste my breath explaining BASIC computer safety principals to someone who didn’t listen to a word I said for 3 years. I told him they need to initiate the transfer, and I’m happy to click accept when the email comes. He said, “I want you to initiate it”.
Dang, if I was of sound mind at the time and not sick and groggy, I would have said fine. Then since I am a volunteer, I would have done this all remotely as a Canadian, transfer the domain to my own personal account somewhere, and bill him my Canadian rates to be paid into my Canadian account, with an added rush fee.
This was on Tuesday, and I’m still pissed off about it.
I need to calm down.
Greetings !
Fighting with the shit courier guy since early this morning
