Apparently Cape Town today:
i drove past quite a few trees laying in the road this morning, and the neighbours gutter ended up in my front yard
Yea we have a few downed trees
not much else. Coastal areas are at bigger risk - this wind isnt funnys
Frans Conradie St is a mess with downed
Yea I heard about that, there is 4 trees down near Brights in Boston
This one is about 5 blocks from home, went home for lunch and had to take alternative route.
Shoo. That looks like it was a pretty big, solid tree.
It was, at least 3 storeys tall. It has survived all these years, this time it didnt last.
Im just impressed the pines that we have at our neighbours havent lost branches. It usually does during these storms.
I know something scratched my bedroom window over night
you seem to have a tree in the road.
International sign of too much wind.
atleast you know where to get your braaiwood
Are you even allowed to braai???
At your own home yes
But you are allowed to get into a taxi that is 100% full as long as they open the windows?
you cant visit family, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut you can go to a restaurant and be surrounded by strangers
Stupid Eskom can’t tell time either, were due to go off at 8pm, not 7pm.
Thanks, I wasn’t aware of that.
Also, turns out all complexes around us are on. Which is wierd, might just be us.
I cant remember what area do you stay in?
It might be a general fault - is it just your unit or all of them?
Burgundy Estate.
I think we would normally fall under Plattekloof or Bothasig, possibly even Richwood.
Chances are its an outage, I think you guys are also city power aka not reliant on eskom so stage 1 only - have you found your area on Eskom se push?
