I cant even go for a weekend away without over packing just in case and the amount of times it has been worth it outweighs the amounts it wasnt needed
And even then, there’s always that time you go, “That’s the ONE thing I didn’t think to pack…”
Yea that still happens - I ironically pack according to the people I am doing stuff with, I know now what I need for most of them.
With my friends, a muzzle and duct tape are a must!
WOW you guys carry a lot of stuff hey… and i mean you guys not the girls as carry a lot was kinda expected.
this is what i carry:
Week:
Car + house keys
phone
handbag(it contains my wallet, lip ice, lipgloss, eyedrops, painkillers)
a jersey
a bottle of water
on weekends its the same except i dont take water with me…
Phone, wallet, sunglasses, keys. In that order.
Sunglasses I leave in the car.
And normally I have some form of antihistamine with me - today I forgot, picked up the lost cat that lives in our office complex and now I am having a fun allergic reaction, eyes watering, hands and body itching and throat is tight. Might have to run to the chemist
I keep in my desk at work. Two days in a row I’ve had to use already…
Protip: As much as it sucks, don’t touch the cat.
I normally wouldnt, but i wanted to get the name and number of the owner to kak her out. Im fedup of having the cat here and chasing it out at least 5 times a day and no I will not close my door - its the only fresh air I get.
Plus i could have sworn I had some pills in my drawer but nope
get 6 friends together ##vote it and lynch the
hahahahahaha I am calling the spca next - we have a bunch of feral cats here already
Call one of the rescue organisations. maybe the cat was dumped
you cant get rid of the ferrals as once they are gone others will just take their place. check to see if their ears are snipped at the edge, if they are it means they have been neutered and wont breed. they are working cats and keep rodents and pests in check.
this one has an owner who doesnt care that it is wandering around during the day every day - her words - it isnt everyday just the days she isnt at home - we see this cat every day from 8 - 5 when we leave and have to chase it out of our and the office next to us.
It has been locked into 2 of the other offices over night now as well.
Ons los wel die Feral katte uit - hulle is fine want hulle pla ons glad nie. Ma die een pick fights met hulle en ek dink nie sy is reg gemaak nie
Feels like I am completing a form so that a criminal knows what I have with me when I leave the house =D
In that case, I lock my wallet, car keys and phone in my safe. Swallow the key.
I walk to where ever I need to go, with my pepper spray, knife and pistol
I wouldnt admit I swallow the key. thieves carry coat hangers
Did not think that through! Now they know how to get my stuff
thats why i carry my stuff in a moonbag/fanny pack. nobody looks there anymore
I had a similar situation. One of the families that lived here moved, and their new place didn’t allow pets, so they just abandoned their cat. Of course, the admin director has a soft spot for cats, so she let it stay. It got fleas, and it spread them to guests. A flea collar was her solution. It would come in all the buildings that have a strict “no animal” policy, she would even put food under the tables for the thing. It would sit on the couches in the tea room. I stopped going to tea. She got the cleaning staff to clean the couches once a week, which I told her wouldn’t make a lick of difference.
Finally, with the new management, they decided it was time for the cat to go. They assigned the maintenance manager to take it to the spca. There were no objections in the meeting. Several people decided to hide the cat. And somehow, the decision got overturned. No one told the maintenance manager.
The cat went to the maintenance manager’s house, sat at its door meowing, which it never does. So he took the cat to the spca. Man did crap hit the fan…
