Soulslike fans don’t sleep on Lords of the Fallen! I love that game so much. It does have its faults but the atmosphere and envirnomental design is outstanding. I truly believe it’s the closest another studios has gotten to nailing the “fromsoft dark fantasy” vibe.

Having recently gotten a Series S at home for my son to play on, I won’t be able to downscale back to PC only. I’ve been on Ultimate now for a grand total of 2 months specifically for XBOX play and, seeing as my son (5 years old!) now plays Minecraft and Lego Fortnite with a school friend on weekends, I need the Ultimate subscription.

Now that my son has a PC to game on the Xbox is only used for Minecraft for my daughter. So if I get a copy of that for her I won’t need the Ultimate sub anymore.

Except, it’s an odd one this time around… Instead of additions for the rest of the month, today’s announcement has just three titles all coming in the next few days. Despite noting the games that are leaving at the end of the month, the Xbox Wire post does suggest that they’ll “have another update for you soon”, so let’s see if we get a third announcement for July in a weeks’ time?

And a continuation of the storyline from earlier games? Possibly a way for them to get Warzone onto a bunch of new devices in preparation for Black Ops 6? Assuming the new game uses the same framework.

Agree that this is an odd choice although it is the current COD so it’s the current multiplayer version alongside the free to play warzone.
