Rush eSports - the folks who put together the rage Expo - have partnered with Absa and ACGL to put together the Absa Gaming Festival.
The Festival features Fortnite duos and FIFA 22 open cup tournaments, and an Apex Legends streamer series.
The cash prize pool for the three tournaments is valued at R60,000 with additional giveaways from Absa Rewards valued at over R50 000.
There will also be a Best Plays competition where gamers can submit their most memorable gaming moments and stand to win prizes.
Dates have been allocated to the various tournament stages:
Fortnite
- 30 April: Qualifier One
- 7 May: Qualifier Two
- 14 May: Qualifier Three
- 21 May: Qualifier Four
- 28 May: Final
FIFA 22
- 1 May: Qualifier One
- 8 May: Qualifier Two
- 15 May: Qualifier Three
- 22 May: Qualifier Four
- 25 May: Group Stage
- 5 June: Final
Apex Legends Streamer
This event will feature invited streamers and drafted teammates.

The Absa Gaming Festival Best Plays Competition will take place online on Twitter from 22 April to 22 May.
