Assetto Corsa & AC Racing League [MEWRL]

Thanks @oltman. I’m having a hectic day, posting the results hasn’t even crossed my mind yet.

Was super fun racing there last night, thanks again to all who joined.

Melvin, Beemer and Gerhard shall now be known as The Ballast Dodgers :tm:
These are starting to sound like some meme team names, The Ballast Dodgers, The Loadshedders :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

edit: let’s not forget “The Mewnicorns”

We’re taking a trip to Scandinavia this evening to race at the very short and very twisty Knutstorp Track in Sweden.

That was quite the roller coaster indeed. Fun track, I think I’ll keep it on the roster.

@aldyr took the maximum of 32 points, extending his lead, while @oltman came in at 20, only slightly pulling away from the 3-way fight for 3rd place in the championship.
That 3rd position has been tightly contested over the past few rounds, only separated by 4 points going into round 6.
@WarRack101 and @the9avenger9 are both making their way up the order, slowly, but surely. Consistent finishes will do that for you, keep it up.

Loadshedding again for me scheduled until 8:30PM, so I am a “Doubtful” again. Sorry.

I had an SRS race last night at 9pm. And I thought my loadshedding was only at 10pm. And then I double checked, and read it was at 8, so i went to test the backup power, and move plugs around, and turn off extra screens, and gadgets, and then panicked and ordered food, and then… then… realised I read wrong, and it wasn’t going off.

But at least I can race in the dark now. #eskomyour$%#&also

Sorry guys, I won’t be able to make it tonight at least not the first race. I might be able to get there for the second race depending when that starts.

Hmm… doesn’t seem like stage 2 is going away anytime soon. This puts a damper on things…

Maybe for y’all but it gives me an opportunity to get a GPU so that I can enjoy the fun again. Lol

I am still keen but prefer bigger fields. The problem is we will never get a time slot with load shedding that wont affect SOMEbody…

Only 5 of us were able to make it this evening, with a possibility of a 6th, which is still less than half the ideal grid size. Round 6 will be moved to next week, same time.
I think about half a dozen or more people couldn’t make it due to power, doesn’t look good for the Corona Cup if it keeps up or gets worse. Hopefully it doesn’t :crossed_fingers:

Sorry that you guys didn’t have enough people to race last

Not sorry in that I didn’t lose out in points by not being there - gotta somehow chase down the old Madala in P2
