Thanks @oltman. I’m having a hectic day, posting the results hasn’t even crossed my mind yet.
Was super fun racing there last night, thanks again to all who joined.
Melvin, Beemer and Gerhard shall now be known as The Ballast Dodgers
These are starting to sound like some meme team names, The Ballast Dodgers, The Loadshedders
That was quite the roller coaster indeed. Fun track, I think I’ll keep it on the roster.
@aldyr took the maximum of 32 points, extending his lead, while @oltman came in at 20, only slightly pulling away from the 3-way fight for 3rd place in the championship.
That 3rd position has been tightly contested over the past few rounds, only separated by 4 points going into round 6. @WarRack101 and @the9avenger9 are both making their way up the order, slowly, but surely. Consistent finishes will do that for you, keep it up.
I had an SRS race last night at 9pm. And I thought my loadshedding was only at 10pm. And then I double checked, and read it was at 8, so i went to test the backup power, and move plugs around, and turn off extra screens, and gadgets, and then panicked and ordered food, and then… then… realised I read wrong, and it wasn’t going off.
But at least I can race in the dark now. #eskomyour$%#&also
Sorry guys, I won’t be able to make it tonight at least not the first race. I might be able to get there for the second race depending when that starts.
Only 5 of us were able to make it this evening, with a possibility of a 6th, which is still less than half the ideal grid size. Round 6 will be moved to next week, same time.
I think about half a dozen or more people couldn’t make it due to power, doesn’t look good for the Corona Cup if it keeps up or gets worse. Hopefully it doesn’t
