Sounds good, i’ll try and get a server going with both cars and the people can decide between the nimble Fiat and the nugget Cortina
Finally a clutch
If you want something in the meanwhile, the trackday server has a supercar showndown thing going, open to the public. Just for funzies
Test server is up for the next season of the Corona Cup! Fiat 500 or Ford Cortina?
It will be short qualifying session followed by 2x 15 minute sprint races with the 2nd race being reverse grid for half points.
Both cars are available for now, let me know which one you prefer.

Ah damn, i wasted my lunch on ACC, when I could have been trying the Cortina.
Ford Corona! I mean, Cortina. I mean, Cortina Corona Cup. I can carry on…
Also I am happy to report the Install Missing Content is fixed.
I think you’ve just decided the type of car for us
The Corona Cortina Cup! Has a nice ring to it
@SlinX - Getting “Game crashed - Can’t connect to remote server” message in CM on trying to start a practice. Bottom left of the loading screen says “Cannot join the server : no available slots”.
Car and circuit run fine in offline practice:
Going to definitely need so setup tips again, but this is at least a little more manageable speedwise for me! Loving it! Great find @oltman!
Myself and @GerhardNiemand did a few laps in each car.
All I can say is that the Cortina is going to be hilarious on a decently sized grid, and for that reason it’s my choice for the Corona Cup S2.
Regarding setup, increase final drive, slam it to the ground and set hardest springs possible for a fun time
There’s really not much you can do to curb the monumental understeer, the suspension is made of marshmallows.
@SlinX is there any way of downloading the car file without signing up to mega.nz?
No worries, it worked now
I second this. Marshmallow suspension is fun
@DarthMol and I did some laps last night. They’re all excellent cars. Close racing is guaranteed, and there’s probably going to be some lift off oversteer drifts coming off of the faster sections, but picture 3 or 4 cars sliding like a ballet.
You most certainly did.

“some”
Clearly the Cortina is the most fun… 19 laps
That stats says it all
That Abarth500 sticks to the road like glue. I quite enjoyed the Alfa as well. With the Lotus Cortina the lack of having a clutch makes it difficult with the rear kicking out on the downshifts, so more often than not I was trying to save the slide going around the corners.
