Its the baby calf leather. The trick is to then drive without pants on…
OK, I have actually given this some thought and I think sticking with one car and one game has really improved my consistency. My lap times are all hovering around 98-99% consistency and that is paying off. Now I am slowly adding better lap times due to car and track familiarity, and then finally, because the normal driving is becoming more of an instinct, it gives me more time to work on race craft: planning my moves and where to position the car, not only to drive faster, but make better overtakes and defend better.
@DarthMol’s recent sint of great racing and getting amazing improvement, has inspired me to do the same. Practise makes perfect
That’s just great, now I have to up my game again
Congrats dude, I’m looking forward to some close racing.
@Flex Your screenshots look so much better than mine, as I only use the pause function on different cameras from the replay. So then I Goolged and see there is a secret (well, not so secret anymore, I guess) key to go into free cam mode!
F7 - tracks current car
Ctrl-F7 - free cam
And then I learned of a Cinema mode! I guess my screenshots will now be bumped up in technical quality, now all I need is a better eye!
Q8, P6. A successful night. But for some reason my race number was not available and gave me this one…
This is what I needed for my race:
For some reason I was just not getting the right positioning so I wasted a whole lot of time in the pits.
Now that is a much better screen shot!
The Cup race was good fun!
Was amazing. Leguna was a mess though. Changed the setup, and the car just kept on spinning out on hard braking
I wondered about how Laguna would be. I did the normal GT3 race at Laguna to practice for this Thursday’s RaceFace race, and even that could be a handful at times with the Corkscrew, I can only imagine how “fun” it would be without TC.
The GT4 DLC is 35% off - I’m tempted to pull the trigger
Bang
Just bought the InterPack hopefully I can join you guys.
His explanations are pretty easy to understand. I recommend his whole channel if you want to get into car setups, and not just in ACC, he explains in broad strokes that applies to most sims out there.
He is the lead vehicle handling engineer for ACC after all
