Assetto Corsa Competizione

I used to have a Simhub running on my second screen. but took that away. i have a button that cycles through (not sure what to call it), positions, splits and change pit options. So i press that quickly if I want to check track position and times

MFD (Multi Function Display), itā€™s probably that. Donā€™t know why I didnā€™t think of this before. I have most things turned off in Dirt Rally 2.0, and thatā€™s much easier to focus.

Ah yes, I also have a button to switch between those options.

That is it yeah!

Have had lots of times where I need to change pit strategy and so on while on a lap. Then having those options on your wheel is a must have

So after giving up on AC (even using the launcher) to get my wheel recognised, I decided to download and try ACC. Wow. Just WOW. I spent an hour flinging the Porsche around the Nurbugring short circuit. Iā€™m driving on the default ā€œbeginnerā€ settings, with everything on auto a stability control off. Itā€™s SO much easier than Project Cars 2 and SO much more fun! As mentioned countless times, the sound is just amazingā€¦

One you get faster and you put all the drivings aids off it gets much more difficult than PC2, but much more for and rewarding.

The GT3s especially are extremely sensitive to being unsettled, and once you lose it 99% of the time you canā€™t bring it back. So margin for error is minimal.

The aggressive setups for each car on each track should be fine to start with as the default setups usually have tons of under steer.

Nice! I like how your driver pumps those brakes!

My condolences to any thinking of getting ACC these days - the price has shot up to R629!

I guess instead of reducing the DLC price they upped the base game price to normalise pricingā€¦

Yoh! Well done man. This is what happens when Iā€™m not there to distract you XD

The racing last night was fierce and fun. I had multiple side-by-side battles with many people in both races. The first one at the Hungaroring I ended in 2nd, after going toe-to-toe with the leader for 10 laps, constantly swapping positions.

The second race at Zandvoort I ended in 3rd and made way too many mistakes and my pace was not up to scratch. @oltman was gaining like a lighting bolt and after the leader binned it after we went a whole sector side-by-side, he pressured me into making a mistake and took the lead. That last few laps were nerve wracking trying to catch-up to the leaders and trying to pressure 2nd to assist Oltman for the win. Ultimately that was not needed and he made than Bentley the widest car in the world.

Both races were awesome and the closest races Iā€™ve had in MNR so far.

Nice guys, sounds like some awesome racing. I have much catching up to do!

Iā€™m still settling on a car for the new RaceFace season. It doesnā€™t help that I seem to suck equally with all the cars around Nurburgring. Itā€™s a struggle for me to get into the 1:58ā€™s even so Iā€™m far far off the pace.

@oltman you been getting some coaching on the side?
