Assetto Corsa Rally

Sneaky announcement from SuperNova Games “in technical partnership with Kunos Simulazioni” and 505 Games - Assetto Corsa Rally is a thing and it’s releasing into Early Access on Steam in a months time!

Assetto Corsa Rally is a high-fidelity rally sim built for precision and challenge. With 3D laser-scanned stages and cars, professional co-driver support, and dynamic conditions, it delivers a demanding, immersive experience where every second behind the wheel counts.

505 Games and Supernova Games Studios, in technical partnership with KUNOS Simulazioni, are excited to announce Assetto Corsa Rally – the new additional arm within the Assetto Corsa series, dedicated to the thrilling world of rally racing.

Developed by the team at Supernova Games Studios, Assetto Corsa Rally brings the acclaimed realistic driving model of the Assetto Corsa franchise to one of the most demanding and spectacular motorsport disciplines. Assetto Corsa Rally will deliver an authentic and immersive experience that captures the unique essence of rallying – the ultimate test of speed, strategy, reflexes, and composure, all rolled into one.

Launching into Steam Early Access on November 13th 2025, Assetto Corsa Rally will feature both offline gameplay modes and gradually, throughout Early Access, online multiplayer. Every race takes place in a dynamic environment, where day-night cycles and changing weather conditions directly impact driving performance.

Temperature, humidity, surface type, and water progressively affect grip and vehicle response, making every stage feel unique. These elements are not mere visual effects but are integral to the physical simulation model, requiring drivers to demonstrate precision, sensitivity, and adaptability to master every situation.

Thanks for compiling all this info! I’m pretty keen on what they’ll do on the rally stage with the AC engine.

Out now in Early Access on Steam with a limited time 20% off discount and very favourable regional pricing.

And even cheaper (by about R30) if you already own AC Evo on Steam as well:

Early reviews are hugely positive. Haven’t read or watched them all yet, but the headlines and titles alone are enough of an indicator…

As with most sims, the honeymoon is over. And the community has seemingly done a 180 on sentiment towards Assetto Corsa Rally, with the videos and overall commentary on weird handling and physics behaviour, and other oddities. I do say, seemingly because while the youtubers are chasing views with their moaning, those I’ve spoken to, are loving the early access title so far.

Damn does this sim hit hard, when you put the time and effort in. It can be oppressive when you give in to the fear, but when you respect the fear, it’s so so damn rewarding :raised_hands: I’ve had my hands full with other commitments, to dive back in again, but

I think I chimed into one of your live session streams and like what I saw. Just an FYI, your audio levels needs fine tuning as could barely hear you over the game audio.

Yeah, i fixed the audio levels. I also had the monitor on in OBS, so it was echo’ing back into my ear. Pro streamer :hear_no_evil:

Update 0.3 is out now.

We’re incredibly excited to be the first Rally title to introduce a fully laser scanned Monte-Carlo Rally brought to the sim world with uncompromising accuracy.

NEW STAGES

  • Col de Turini – 18 km
The Col de Turini is a legendary mountain stage defined by relentless elevation change, extreme technicality, and minimal margin for error. Over 18 km, the road climbs aggressively through dense forest before breaking out onto exposed alpine sections.

  • Sisteron – 13 km
The Sisteron stage is a fast and flowing 13 km test that contrasts sharply with tighter alpine stages. It features wide, well-surfaced roads with long, open corners, rapid direction changes, and several high-speed sections where commitment is essential.

NEW CARS

  • Lancia Fulvia Coupe HF – 1970 - FWD
1.6 litre, narrow-angle V4 engine producing 115-130+ hp which won the 1972 International Rally Championship and the Monte-Carlo Rally.

  • SKODA Fabia RS Rally2 – 2022 - AWD
FIA Rally2-spec car featuring a 1.6-litre turbo engine producing 289 HP won its competitive debut at the Lausitz Rally in November 2022.

DYNAMIC WEATHER

  • As is the case with Monte-Carlo in the real world, the stages have a variety of weather conditions where it can mix from snow to tarmac and back to snow again. We’ve worked this into our dynamic weather system that, as far as we are aware, is the first rally game to feature a dynamic snowy condition.

WINTER AND SNOW TYRES

  • Taking on the icy mountain roads of Monte-Carlo demands a very specific kind of grip. To meet that challenge, we’re introducing two brand-new tyre compounds designed for the harshest winter conditions.

INPUT:

  • Added gamepad steer filter options and removed default steer dead zone (now the user can set it to 0). When relaunching the game for the first time, all values will be reset.
  • Added soft lock option for steering wheels
  • Fixed Xbox wireless gamepad detection

IMPROVEMENTS TO AUDIO, PHYSICS, UI ONLINE AND MORE!
