I get some donations here and there, but not even a fraction of what I’m worth. I was volunteering for something I believe in, which is no longer the case. I’m actually not too keen to sell off a flat full of stuff and start over. I’d like to settle down and maybe start a family some day. Not something feasible when you’re having to move around every couple of years. I’ve already been volunteering for the past 12 years. I’m just comfortable where I am at the moment, but I’m being forced into an uncomfortable situation.
I appreciate you keeping an ear out for me, thanks
This is a great community and it’s worthwhile helping one another out in any way we can. If you don’t mind me asking, can you send me a CV of sorts? Comprehensive LinkedIn profiles are quite valuable as well and I usually just export my CV from LinkedIn. Our recruiters complete a template CV from the LinkedIn info for easier matching to relevant positions.
Sure, I’ll try and get my CV up to date on Sunday or Monday. I don’t have LinkedIn or any social media. I know it hurts in this kind of situation, but I gotta stand by my principals…
My wife said that as well, until she had to get a Facebook account for her hobby baking business. Since then she’s been hooked. How many principals do you have though? And are they like headmasters at school?
LOL well, we had a principal here. But he got forced out by the new board of directors, and the new principal just calls himself a CEO because they’ve kinda given up on the school thing…
But ya, I don’t like my name coming up on web searches. I have a couple from when I was in university, and the internet was a relatively small place compared to now… Kinda an embarrassing too, something about an anime…
Got a BP and as for Scotland … just heard a lot of good things which led to starting talking to people that settled there / live there. Led to looking more closely and seeing it has advantages over the UK as well as being stunning It’s funny, Ireland and Scotland com e up the most on the one FB group I joined, super popular destinations for us seffricans these days
P.S - Wales is still on the agenda but future wise … all hangs on if my buddy goes ahead and opens his business there (even though there is also family there).
Why do these free sport streaming sites suck so much ass! When you eventually get past the tsunami of ads and shyte, you get like 1min of stream per 5mins of buffer
It’s a city I want to experience one day. Might even see if I can do a quick LSD trip (not the drug, you junkie minded lot) in July, as we’re planning to fly via Heathrow to Cork. That obviously means we’ll need to get visas to enter England, where a more direct flight with only an airport transfer via, say Emirates to Dublin won’t require visas. But I’m totally okay with that.
Woohoo! We just got our first lead for a European project (from Vienna, Austria), referred to by the client I’m currently dealing with in Cape Town, who referred another project we also did that’s making waves in the insurtech startup space. The lead is happy to hear we’re establishing a presence in the EU and he’s more than happy to fly anywhere in the EU to meet up and discuss the project.
Yes, you need about 2-3 days to do most (if not all) of the touristy stuff in London. It’s worthwhile to go there as a tourist. Living and working in London is a completely different game.
It’s still an insanely powerful card. You’ll be able to up the pretty in all games now. I’m playing on a 1060 in my laptop and can game comfortably with games nearing max settings around 40 FPS. Enjoy!
