There was actually one Uwe Boll movie I enjoyed — In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. Don’t know if I would buy it, but it was fun to watch once.
Watched it because it starred Jason Statham, Claire Forlani, and Matthew Lillard before I knew it was directed by Boll.

Despite the fact that the film was (IMO) enjoyable, it was critically panned and nominated for a bunch of Razzie awards — probably because Boll was attached to it (Boll won Worst Director).
I remember reading somewhere that Boll said it would be the last time he tries to make a film with expensive high-profile actors, because it’s just not worth it. (Basically: Regardless of what he tries to do to rehabilitate his image, he’s going to be eviscerated by critics. Woe is him.)
