The only problem with payday being today is that I only have this weekend where there is a meaningful number in my back account, before waking up on a Monday to see all the SMSs come through of all the payments to be made. So we’ll be starting a week broke af.

Try it. If it causes a problem for co-workers maybe limit the download bandwidth to stop it running at max. In the Steam client top left File > Settings > Downloads (I think).
