Either that or when september ends. Whichever happens sooner
I always laugh watching vids of guys that drop their cars so low and camber the wheels so badly that they are unable to drive them anywhere except an ice rink
So long as youāre ābaggedā, and you trust the product and the installer, you should be good.
Iād love to Liberty Walk or Rocket Bunny my Corolla, but can only imagine how much itād cost to do so.
āBaggedā suspension cost like, what ā¦ R6500, give or take.
I was laughing today, there was a Jag Ftype infront of me, on the one street where every 200m there is a kak speed bump, or circle - I ended up passing it
Is that what you call it?
No matter how much protection you have, hit the bump just right and you will tear off the whole bumper.
Not sure I get the point of taking a car designed to go fast and take corners like a beast and then make it unable to do either of those things once they have ābaggedā it.
Ha, you laugh. I have that same problem now. Have to go over bumps and things carefully. The other day I was at the vet and the driveway is exceptionally steep. I was worried if I could get my car up and down there without hurting the bumper.
I never noticed things like these until I got a very low car.
The worst of course being that I had to extend the ramp going into my garage just so that I could get the car into the garage.
On my car; she is at stock height, so cutting springs or buying a lowering kit would be ideal.
Cutting springs is a really budget way of lowering your rideās height, but itās quite pricey to buy an adjustable lowering kit.
Lowering your ride can and does help with the center of gravity of your car which can result in better road-holding and improved cornering ā the trade off is: bumpy(er) ride and mounting curbs and speed humps.
In racing, it can make a lot of sense, you want as much control over your vehicle as possible.
In common āstylisticā use: itās generally meant as a show piece.
Many modern racing and luxury vehicle comes with lowering and heightening equipped ā within reason, of course.
Out where I live you need height.
I drive on farm roads a couple days a week and our drainage to get into our property kills my wifes fiesta. Folks had to sell my moms BRZ as it couldnt get through the ditches properly
Low cars seem impractical to me. Too much trash and debris in the roads. Not to mention speed bumps.
Also the one centre island I have to go onto a little bit every now and then due to wealthy moms causing traffic outside a shopping centre
I agree with you
No joke, but Iām off to take a nap. I always try and sleep from 3-6 when Iām working at night.
I just found it funny sheās doing a better job than they are.
I guess I could have said āA lady at work got caught smuggling drugsā to make it more interesting.
I hate you a little bit
But then again I dont work late anymore.
My reflexes and ability to aim are too slow for CoD.
Oh definitely. But I wanted something fast and sporty and ended up with something thatās very fun to drive but more impractical than my previous cars.
To be honest, I didnāt even look at the ground clearance of the car when I bought it. It looked great, performed great and I got it at a bargain.
The plan is to drive the car for 6 years. Now Iāve gotten used to something quick and I donāt think I can go back from that. But itāll have to be something quick, yet a bit more practical for South African roads.
I think we are talking about low like what hagan posted. Normal low is fine, and driveable on our roads. But ābaggingā it as the kids say these days is a different story
Oh yeah, thatās just crazy.
I like low cars, as you guys are putting it. The problem is it looks like a building is collapsing when I try to get into one.
I always thought that one day I will work hard, earn lots and lots of money, and buy myself a Jaguar F-Type cabriolet. I LOVE that car so much. And I even got the chance to sit in one. And thatās when the dream was dashed, that moment when I sat in the car, and was looking literally over the windscreen. People pointed and laughed. It was sad. Then it became funny.
