I think the best way to celebrate a birthday is to go away on a quick getaway. Somewhere remote, braai everyday, relish the days from sunrise to sunset. Granted this is not always possible, but its awesome to do.
How do you prefer to celebrate your birthday?
For me its a case of trying to forget about the day. Birthdays tend to be disappointing. I try to spend the day with Nima, we order our favourite food, game and watch movies kinda thing.
Never been a big celebratory party person myself. Prefer birthday celebration is a quiet braai or home-cooked dinner, pecan pie, a nice bottle of wine and a whiskey, some decent coffee.
