We are halfway through the year already. Nobody knows where the time went but it went somewhere. Hopefully it was spent playing good games.
Of all the games that you’ve played so far this year, what’s been your favourite?
Mine has to be Elite Dangerous. I got to the party a bit late and then first played it on console before moving to the pc rather. It’s one of those games where you can just relax with and just enjoy your surroundings.
What’s your favourite so far?
In terms of hours played and enjoyed at the time of playing it: Warframe. 900+ hours of my life into that game.
In terms of most fun had solo with the most “look at that moments”: Ark
Got elite dangerous downloaded again, looking forward to chilling with the game again this year.
Hmmm, wow this is a tough decision. I have almost forgot what I’ve played this year.

State of Decay 2
I almost want to say it will be between Far Cry 5 and State of Decay 2 at this moment.
I’ve only really done a second playthrough of Persona 5 and almost done post-game content in Ni No Kuni 2 this year as far as I can recall. I won’t count a second playthough, so I’ll have to go for Ni No Kuni 2.
This is difficult, I havent been playing new games, I think Destiny 2 is my only “new” game thus far - and I am enjoying it. But its also not a game of the year game
The best game I’ve played this year so far is probably Pillars of Eternity II, but the most fun I’ve had with a “new” game this year is Yakuza 6. God of War gets an honorable mention, that game was on point.
Slightly off topic, but the biggest disappointment so far has to be Far Cry 5. I was looking forward to it so much and got so hyped but after doing the first region I completely lost interest in it. I still have the game though, so I might go back to it at some point.
I don’t think I’ve finished any games. I also haven’t played much this year. So I’ll vote for Transistor which I have played a bit of already.
God of war. That was simply amazing.
Hmm…tricky one, as there have been quite a few great games out this year. By platform :

PC : Dead Cells
XBone : poor Xbone needs a bit more love. I have Forza Horizon 3 installed, just need to find time to play it 
I think the newest game I own is Forza 7 ,but F1 is over shadowing it so I can’t really comment.
I’m waiting for f1 2018 and Dakar 18 being released in August and September respectively
For me it definitely has been Hollow Knight - I absolutely loved playing the game. It was challenging and fascinating and a truly magical journey.
I’m looking forward to replaying it when the Gods and Kings expansions drops - although I fear how tough the new bosses will be.
