Ubisoft has unveiled a new cinematic trailer for Beyond Good and Evil 2, and has announced a new online home for the Space Monkey Programme, a fan community for the game.
This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://ink.mostepic.win/beyond-good-and-evil-2-fans-can-create-art-and-music-for-the-game-and-get-paid-for-it/

The articles I’ve been seeing on this all seem to miss the fact that HitRECord pays you if your work is used in the final product(s).
This is actually pretty damn awesome from Ubisoft.

During the entire conference Ubi really kept pushing the “community” angle. Working with the community and or listening to what the community had to say on a lot of topics is awesome. I for one love what Ubisoft is doing with HitRecord and can’t wait to see the results.

Already signed up and looking through the briefs. I reckon getting something creative added into a game is reward enough, but if you happen to make a little coin off of your efforts, so much the better. I think it’s especially awesome that they’ve opened it to the public - normally the only way users would be involved in something like this is if they were crowdfunding backers and it was a perk.
Anyone ever had words, images, sounds they created included in a game? Closest I’ve got is having 2 of the Event posters I submitted used in the final version of Project Cars 2:
Very proud of them both, and always get a little thrill when I see them in-game.
