So tomorrow is Black Friday, and Monday Cyber Monday. Tiss the season to be shopping. This year I seem to have been aware of more articles advertising the specials coming this weekend. Which has been good for me. As I’m moving into a new house in a week, I need a few appliances and stuff.
So what is on your wishlist for Black Friday? Where did you find the best special?
I’m looking for an airconditioner, like a proper wallmounted one, but I haven’t found a really good deal yet 
the best special i found was forza horizon 3 for R250 on the russian xbox site, had to jump through a few hoops but its well worth it instead of paying double for it here
I don’t really intend on getting anything. But this whole “Black Friday” thing is spreading.
Coming back from Rustenburg today I saw a sign that read, “Black Friday Specials 40% off on all succulents”
A simple “like” does not do this post justice. I demand reactions! It must receive… a ROFL.
I don’t have any gaming needs at the moment but want to get a nutribullet or a good wet/dry vacuum cleaner…
I’m not planning on buying anything in particular, don’t really have the money, but we will be looking for parts to build my girlfriend a new PC.
So far got a new TV and a new girlfriend…erm I mean new dishwasher. I see many places are keeping up their specials for the entire weekend, not just today. Thank goodness for that. Hopefully I can find a good couch on Sunday

From what I have seen, a lot of the “specials” seem to be from suppliers as many websites are dropping prices on the same items/models.
There is also the sneaky tactic of artificially inflating the price buy a couple of hundred rands then throwing it on special to make it feel like you are saving a lot of money. When in reality, it’s R100 off the standard price.
I’ll use Wootware as an example:
Was R2499? PLEASE? It was about R1799-1899 and I know this because I was looking for a graphics card myself. The same applies to any online store selling the Zotac GTX 1050’s they where all at R1999 now at R1899. I have seen some at R1999 as a special, rather get a Palit one at Wootware for R1899 then.

Have you looked at Raru? They seem to have some sensible prices and deals nothing to crazy and their website works too. They are also having Flash sales which is cool since it seems like they limit stock for a item sell out and then sell it again at a later time in the day.
EDIT: I spoke too soon! It’s having some trouble with the flash sale refresh!

So far I bought two camping chairs and a fan at the eBucks store.
I was really keen on a good special on an ultrawide high resolution screen but alas, there’s nothing!

Thanks will take a look I just laughed me ass off at Takealot - they sent me an email asking me to come spend my R500 credit that I have with them - I still cant get onto their site! And they have the tablet I want!
I also can’t get onto Takealot. I feel bad for them. I know a lot of work went into getting everything ready for Black Friday and even then they can’t keep it up. They spent so much in advertising and such.
You should see their facebook page - the amount of complaints is mental
