It is never pleasant for a company to shutdown. The latest company to do so is Boss Key Productions, the company started by Cliff Bleszinski - a noted game designer know also as CliffyB, to develop Lawbreakers.
It’s a shame about their closure, but it’s not a surprise. Hubris got to Cliffy B, thinking he could do nothing wrong, marketing Law Breakers as the next big thing. But it’s still sad to see them close down.
I must admit, I quite enjoyed Radical Heights despite it’s “extreme early access” status. It had good movement, the dive mechanic was a great deal of fun, and the were some nice fun ideas what with the BMX bikes, trampolines, gameshow elements etc.
