I saw the following post shared on Facebook by my wife’s aunt, it was accompanied by a bunch of amazed comments from her FB friends (those in their late 50s to 60s).
And therein I realised the true horror of the AI revolution. It was bad enough when the old folks got taken in by the fake news reports using pictures from unrelated events. Now with the rise of A.I. generated content they stand no chance against getting duped.
To be fair, these are really well done images and unless you have “feel” for picking out AI images, I could understand how people could believe that these are real.
