Apologies, I forgot to post the thread I made for 9 to 15 May .
Where is the correct place to dispose of old electronics?
The old CRT style TV finally conked out and I need to dispose of it somewhere responsibly. I don’t just want to leave it on the roadside like some people do, you can physically track the progress of it being destroyed as people break bits day to day.

The wheel of time game is available on GOG. I’m not sure when it happened but I know it was not available before (pretty sure we discussed this somewhere). But anyway it looks like the folks at GOG have made it playable on modern systems.
It selling at $9.99

I much prefer talking about and getting insights from others on a game’s experience from those who have actually played the games in suggestion, rather than reading or watching reviews and letting that drive the experience.

For the week 30 May - 5 June
Topic:
You start a new game. There is a bunch of settings to change. Do you leave the defaults as they are or do you change them?
For example. In the Amnesia game change the contrast has never worker for me because the contrast was already fine.
Alternatively I spent a lot of time playing Dirt rally 2.0 in 720p mode because I thought my PC wouldn’t be able to handle it. Once I had to reinstall it on an SSD and left everything on default, hey presto, it worked regardless of the age of the GPU.

For week 6 June - 12 June
Topic:
Recently watched a LTT video where they made a ‘case’ out of radiators. Then there was the famous desk PC case. On mybb a long time ago there was a guy that built his own case. @Avatar I think you also considered building your own case?
Would you consider ever building your own custom shaped case? Would it be a standard ‘shaped’ case, or would it be something more exotic shaped? A banana case /jk
If I was to do one it would possibly be a desk one. It could also be something …
