We saw our first covid-19 affected episode of a series last night. New Amsterdam, the latest episode starts off with actors in isolation talking about the shooting, making of the episode. Very interesting.

I believe local infection rates are going to blow up, soon. This will make lockdown useless since it will not stop it.

I don’t think the purpose of the lockdown is to stop it, it’s to slow it down so that hospitals can cope with it better.

I would like to agree with you but I believe that, unfortunately, suddenly having a massive influx of patients from local infections will overwhelm hospitals just as much.
