And here goes my anxiety…

I dont smoke, but the cigarette ban was just dumb, and the courts agreed. Why do every politician have the need to appeal every decision ever?

Because they save face and it’s their legal and constitutional right to do so. However, in the this case, this particular Zuma cancer cell has started seeing dollar signs again because of how lucrative the illegal booze trade became virtually overnight.

Is it though? They only banned alcohol sales from retail outlets… :grimacing:

No they didn’t - can’t buy in pubs or restaurants either.

“The sale of liquor for both on-site and off-site consumption is prohibited. Neither restaurants nor bottle stores will be able to sell alcohol. This extends to wineries.”

I was basing my comment on this:

But I guess I should be used to all the inconsistencies by now…

It says there onsite consumption is not permitted - but yeah don’t worry you’re not the only one - even I and some coworkers thought restaurants were clear at one point - there is so much bullshit information flying around all the time

@Wyvern are you stocked up ?

We’re at a point with COVID where there is someone we know that is affected or afflicted by the virus. Not anyone at a close relationship as yet.

The point I’m trying to make is that while it was everywhere and all around us, only now is it on “our doorstep”.

There’s that story doing the rounds, of a family of three that died as result of the virus, that was in the same street as my folks.

This is increasingly becoming the reality for many. Got word that two nurses from two different local pharmacies in our area passed away this past week from Covid. The one lady succumbed in less than a week.

Thanks for sharing that and so true.

I refuse to be goverened by fear, doubt, worry or anxiety but what was a concern has become a reality, and that reality has become a way of life.

See I get that, I get that it is here and its evil and terrible, I do my part, I was/sanitize constantly, I wear my mask in public when people are around me, when I get out of my car and there is no one near, I wont put it on - my anxiety wont let me breathe 24/7 in one.

We now have the issue with my sister in law who got the virus and now has gone paranoid - she will not have contact with anyone including her own parents if they don’t wear a mask around her.

Yes, she was sick, no she was not dying, she had a very bad flu version, but she was never in danger. What she is in danger of is mental instability fed by fear-mongering and people who encourage her. She is going to become an agoraphobic, and she is well on her way to it. She is already a hypochondriac who refuses ALL medication. She needs to see someone for her anxiety, but she won’t and she needs to be on meds to control it, but she won’t.

I have politely told my brother, I will just avoid her completely so that she can feel safe in her head, but I am done with her until this thing is over.

Dude, nothing wrong with removing yourself from negative situations. Don’t feel bad for it. Also, you can only help those who want to help themselves. Sorry to say but it’s true.

A bit late, but get’s the idea across when the data has been visualised.
