My wife and myself got SMSās to register but I donāt want to click funny links. We donāt have any emails about it yet. It āseemsā legit seeing that my wife and I got the same message at the same time. Iām 36 so I find it strange. Thought it was only the over 50ās.
Has anyone else gotten anything?

Sounds dodgy. Myself, the wife, my brothers, many of our friends are all in the 50-59 group and none of us have received any notice to register. Iād be wary
The only official place to register online is the site @Avatar linked a few days ago - the EVDS site: Vaccine Registration
And that still rejects you if you say youāre under 50. Those registrations officially only start tomorrow.

Thinking about it, thatās possibly a really, really kak phishing attempt preying on peopleās desperate desire to get vaccinated. I donāt think you actually get a message to register, you only get an SMS once youāve registered.
And if the link takes people to a halfway decent Dept of Health cloned site, the forms youāre filling in thinking youāre registering to be vaccinated are likely to contain a lot of personal info.
I think you should share the SMSās with @SigStart and have him assign one of his crack investigative journalists to the task of putting together a PSA and tracking the site owners and SMS origins.

My manager also received an SMS to register about a month ago even though heās in his 50ās. He registered, but havenāt gotten the go ahead yet, and now he does have Covid.
That said, I think @GregRedd hits the nail on the head. Present Time Avatar also wonāt register anywhere but that official portal, but who know what Future Avatar will do when presented (hehehe) with that SMS.

I know this is not the best way to do this but weāve gotten word that my dad will not make tomorrow morning. I canāt even go see him since he is in the covid ward.
So I ask with a sore heart that if you can and if you are willing please keep him in your prayers and that the almighty will step in at the last moment to heal him

My brother-in-law tested positive last Sunday and I was in contact with him Saturday so Iām also self isolating at home. Iām doing fine but unfortunately he is not. My sister took him to the doctor earlier today and they said he has to be admitted to hospital. I havenāt seen him myself but my mom went to look after the kids and she said he looks very weak.
