Been doing registrations for 50-59s since 01 July. Supposed to start vaccines 15 July, but I know people who registered and have already received an appointment slot for as soon as today and tomorrow.

Oh, I was not aware of that. I thought they were still doing the 60 and over age group. Thanks.

I don’t know about Discovery’s system so much. I got my J&J jab two weeks ago now, at their HO at 1 Discovery Place, and the fact that I’ve been vaccinated still isn’t reflected on their systems. Nor has it been updated on the National Vaccine Database either - I was able to register myself on the EVDS system last week. Register on the national system as soon as you’re able and then hopefully the medical aid systems will catch up.

He’s currently in the ICU but they say he is improving. He’s 45% on the ventilator now and the oxygen in his blood is at 98% which is apparently a good thing.

Speaking to my folks this morning turns out they’ve all been given the vaccine, which I am pleased about. Speaking of, isn’t the 35-49 age group open to registration now?

Registration opens up on Thursday, actual vaccination for 35 - 50 on 1 August. I’ll be staying up on Wednesday night to register.

Probably not, but if I were to bet money on whether or not the government implemented a logical system, I’d bet no… so maybe I get lucky!
