I pressume in general, just very nonchalant.

Yeah! Just got my jab. Waiting in recovery area now…

Seeing the time you posted, seems like we might’ve missed one another by mere minutes!

I got my jab on Monday late at Gallagher Estate. Man that site is so well setup and running so smoothly. In and out in like 20 minutes, because I had to wait 15 minutes for checking. I have to say that I am feeling some side effects today but not concerned at all. Rather that than catching COVID and going to hospital. Also for some strange reason my cellphone reception is absolutely remarkable since I got the jab, plus I hear the Windows startup chime every 30 minutes. Strange but I assume just part of the side effects…

I felt proper kak for 24 hours after getting my jab, like a heavy flu. Maybe even man flu. It was rough, but I pulled through.

So far so good, not feeling anything, not even sore, the nurse I got was awesome, didn’t feel the jab

So I found out I was in contact with two people who tested positive. One was Friday, the other Saturday. Only found out about both yesterday.

Good thing I’m an introvert. Self isolation!! Woo!!

As important as self-isolation is, self monitoring is too. Keep an eye on your vitals and if they’re going the wrong way, ask for help and introversion be damned!

Appreciate the concern.

I don’t really have a choice though. I volunteer at a clinic and I’ve been yelled at before for not taking care of myself.

So I have been presenting mild flu like symptoms, nothing which seems to suggest that it may be covid, unless I am mistaken.

Typical symptoms include: runny nose, sneezing, congestion, post nasal drip.

None of which are those that are associated with covid. Should I assume that I have contracted the virus? Barring in mind I vaccinated a week ago.

Do you have a fever, loss of taste smell? But yea if could be positive, the big thing to take into consideration is do you suffer from hayfever? If you do, it is canola flowering season and where you stay you will get the pollen

My wife is on call, so can’t double check with her, but sure that set of symptoms are not associated with covid. You need to watch out for coughing, store throat, headaches, loss of senses, shortness of breath. It sounds like you rather have hayfever or a common cold. If your symptoms change at all, or you’ll get more peace of mind than from a random internet strangers advice, don’t hesitate to contact your GP for more direct advice as to what to do next.

Yeah I do suffer from hayfever.

No, I don’t have any symptoms associated with covid.

Well that’s the thing, even if I do get tested and its positive. It doesn’t change anything. I’m not experiencing any severe symptoms to warrant a trip to emergency room, so I’d still sit at home.

Thanks for the input all. Appreciated.

It would change how you interact with others though, something to think about.
