Thatās kak, sorry to hear. Hopefully, if anything, itās a mild enough case to keep you home and safe. Not the best way to for the family to be together over Christmas, but still. Better together than apart. The sisters will have a New Years reunion, and itāll be just as special.

The results are in! And its negative! I mean, I tested positive but as a result the outcome is negative. (I have been working on that joke for almost 2 years)
Luckily the symptoms are weak and the vax is doing its job, so I am overall very positive about the outcome in the end.
I owe my wife an expensive Holiday!
Side note, seems we might soon not have to isolate if you had contact. You need symptoms and a positive test result before isolation is required soon.

Got mine yesterday. Was feeling a little miff this morning, but from 10:00 Iām a-okay.
@Wyvern: Just do it. The evidence shows that unboosted vaccination is not all that effective against Omicron. Thereās also possibilities of a new variant coming, which preliminary data shows is more contagious than Omicron. No idea yet if itāll be less severe than Omicron, or worse, but I donāt want to find out the hard way.

If i do it, i will have to o be sneaky, since both parents are now against the booster. Doesnt help my aunt is also still against the vaccine which drives me mental

Good luck with the head dude! Im considering sneaking in a jab on Tuesday when I have plenty of appointments so I will just hopefully not get any other symptoms and can hide it. Mum and aunty is convinced this one will let you test positive for HIV now
