Also, reading the “please don’t stream our stuff before launch” message, I realize now that launch time is 12 noon CET, and not 12 midnight as I’ve been assuming. Which means around this time next week everyone is going to be disappearing into Night City.
Pre-loading soon I hope. Anyone heard anything about that possibility at all? Would be good to get the bulk of the (70GB ?) download done before launch if possible.
EDIT: Okay, now I’m just confused. Re-reading that message and I see it says “before December 9th, 12 PM CET / 3 AM PST”.
12 PM CET = 3 AM PST = 1 PM SAST. So is that “December 9th” a typo? Or maybe that’s the time streaming embargos are lifted? Or are they just getting their AMs and PMs mixed up? Either way, I’m going back to expecting launch at midnight CET / 1 AM here until my confusion is resolved.
I’m also not hyped, but completely clueless as to people who “lost the game”.
I’m considering ordering it though. I’ve got some free time in December for old time sake and having a game to kill the time sounds like a plan.
I’m not “hyped” because I haven’t been watching gameplay and previews so I didn’t hype myself up. I am excited to be getting my hands on the game, but I’m not losing any sleep or going crazy or anything.
I’m sure all that will change when I start playing but for now I’ve got it under control.
