Cyberpunk 2077 — We Have a City to Burn🔥

I’ve yet to experience this game. I’m vert tempted, but will wait for the new patch (and a decent Steam sale) to come out before I take the plunge.

Wonder if they nerfed hacking and quick hacking. I suppose it could be design that if you went fully into those that you are an unstoppable god and not even tied down to a hacking chair. The game has numerous instances where a hacking chair in a hacking lair with leads and screens everywhere are shown, yet you are able to do insane hacking by just walking around, killing all the inhabitants in a building in an instant with no danger to yourself.

I see it’s going for R303 on CDKeys, will also wait and see what 1.3 provides

That’s my build! Went all in with hacking. Once you get past a certain “viral” level, it just spreads and destroys whole areas worth of enemies. At the same time, if they attack me directly, I have to run for my life :joy:

Patch 1.3 — list of changes - Cyberpunk 2077 — from the creators of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Also Patch 1.3…

The 1.3 patch delivers the following free DLCs:

  • Johnny Silverhand’s Alternative Appearance – can be enabled in Settings in the “Additional Content” tab.
  • Multilayered Syn-Leather Deltajock Jacket, Luminescent Punk Jacket - both available in the stash in V’s apartment after receiving a message from Viktor after completing The Ride. They’re of Rare/Iconic quality by default, Crafting Specs to craft a higher quality will also be unlocked.
  • Archer Quartz “Bandit” - available as a reward or for purchase (depending on choices made by player) after completing Ghost Town and then receiving a message from Dakota or Rogue. If you haven’t received the message, make sure to be in the Badlands area and move further away from Dakota’s workshop. Dakota will also need a couple of days to contact you.

I have noticed this title making an apprearence on my YT feed in the form of improvement updates and the fact that it is now ganing positive criticism and feedback from the community and players. Does this mean that it is a better place than it was almost a year ago?

From the slew of Very Positive reviews on Steam it does seem to be.

As you know I bought it on xbox the other day and my experience so far has been very pleasent. I only got one glitch with traffic freaking out a bit so far. Everything else has been smooth sailing.

I didn’t have too many issues with the original game. I’d play it again as soon as they’ve released their new content.

I was a bit miffed after the last patch fixed my OP hacking build :joy: Maybe it’s time to try a gun or melee build

Big news about to go down! (Or is it…??)

CD Projekt Red are about to host a media livestream at which it’s hoped that they will announce the imminent release of the next-gen patch for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S editions of Cyperpunk 2077. Also on the cards is details about the eagerly anticipated and much desired Patch 1.5 and some hoped for new gameplay.

Watch live via GameSpot on YouTube:

CD Projekt RED Developer Livestream (Cyberpunk 2077) - YouTube

Original Broadcast on the CD Projekt Red Twitch Channel:

Opens with “Footage captured on PlayStation 5” - praise be!!
And now more of the same mission with “Footage captured on Xbox Series X”.

Also now has a 5-hour Next-Gen trial available on both PS and XB stores. Trial save files will transfer to full game if you purchase the game after trying it out.

Patch 1.5 is out now for all platforms. The full Patch 1.5 notes:

It’s a big one… and servers are clogged to a crawl. Download in a day…

What a disappointment. Still 30 FPS on Series S. I’ll pass then.

Yeah, that is a bit of a weak one indeed. If anything I’d maybe (BIG maybe) have a look at installing the 5-hour trial to (a) see how it actually runs on the console; and (b) see if I actually like the game enough to consider adding it to my library. It is on 50% sale on the Xbox store at the moment but I can’t see for how long, so if you are going to buy it, it should probably be sooner rather than later.

Of course, there’s always an outside chance that it’ll appear in the Game Pass library at some point in the future. If it did in the next couple of months and you’d actually bought the game now, even at 50% off, it would be a bit kak.

What’s the collective think? Will we see Cyberpunk 2077 on Game Pass, and if so, when?

More videos after the livestream today:

I already own the game. I did actually check out a video and on second thought I will give it a try. It looks a lot better in the video than what I remember it looking when I played so I might as well give it a shot.
