I’d rather wait a bit more and get the game that they want to release (polished and all that)
I agree with this statement
Isn’t there a lot of Polish in the game already?
Jokes aside, I’m okay with the delay but it’s odd considering how big a deal the release date reveal at E3 was, and how long ago that was.
If you look at it they did the same with The Witcher 3 aswell. And look just at how amazing that game is so I have full faith that when it releases that is how they want it to be and not to chase money and disappoint their fans but give their fans this awesome game that they want and how they just want to make 100% sure other than recent game devs and publishers
I want this
Am I the only person who’s super hyped for this game. I’d even go so far as to push back the PC upgrade even further, just for this game. I don’t want to pirate it.
Nope you are not dude been sitting on cash waiting for them to rel3the specs so I can beef up my pc for it
Hell no. Otherwise I wouldn’t have preordered the collectors edition…and i am deadset against preordering. theres just no way im not playing this game…
Well well well that other pc I posted the other day can enter here
This makes me a saaaad panda
I can appreciate the “it’s ready when it’s ready” mindset. Hell, I’m a Star Citizen backer - we know from delays and disappointments Two extra months is a trifle.
I am curious about how much info is going to be coming from these “journalists all over the world who are starting to independently play the game this week” though.
Just how much beyond “it’s good”, “it’s great”, “it’s worth waiting for” will they really be able to say without spoiling anything? And if the game is good enough for CDPR to be giving playable copies to journalists with the aim that the info they’ll share will be enough to “satisfy some of our hunger for the game”, and they know that further balance and polish is all that is really needed, why can’t they still push for their original delayed release date?
I am actually totally fine with the delay. I would rather wait a couple months and have a proper game, than have them rush it out the door, full of bugs and half baked.
I wonder when the new consoles will be released. Would be great to get Cyberpunk 2077 as the first game for my XBox Series X.
I expect that they can trust the journalists they’ve given the game to to look past any bugs they see (or even help report them).
Considering that the game is content- and feature-complete, the fact that they’ve delayed it suggests that they are still finding a lot of bugs. Maybe the deadline extension means they won’t have to crunch so hard?
