Darkest Dungeon is available on both PC and Switch and I think a couple of us have played it by now.
In a way it’s unique in that things will go wrong. It’s just part of the game. At first I restarted a couple of times until I realised there’s no point in restarting. Then eventually things started going well. But I was surprised when I saw at How Long To Beat just how long this game is. It will take forever to complete so I have stopped.
Have been playing it on and off for a while now and its fun but modded it a bit.
Once had the game go non stop damage on my healer and there was nothing I could do was not fun after that fight I modded the game.
Its one of those games that the difficulty got to me a bit, and I am of the belief that you have to be in the right frame of mind to play certain games, I just havent had the concentration yet.
I loved the look and feel so much, that I bought it on Steam, PS and Switch. I even briefly considered buying it on XBONE, but thankfully came to my senses.
Ironically, despite have spent many hours on the game across multiple platforms, I have never really progressed beyond the opening few levels
As much as I love the game, my usual cycle is to begin a fresh new game, full of optimism and hope. But after a few hours of RNGesus beating me down, I rage quit and vow never to play this cheating game again. But inevitably, i get lured back in and the viscous cycle repeats itself.
I’m currently in the cycle of being tempted to dive back on. But I’ve now got the very same situation with ONI. If I can interweave these two games, I could actually be in a good space. Play the one, while I’m raging at the other.
