Can you use loadshitting as an excuse? Its sad, a 10 year courier company that we have been using at the shop for the online orders closed their doors this morning. It is sad that they couldnt survive the loadshitting and increased fuel prices

My motivation is that if I get through Monday, there’s a Tuesday, which is one better. Rinse and repeat a couple of times, and before you know it, it’s Friday and there’s a Springbok Nude Girls concert to attend!

And I am finally dressed and showered. Off to run some errands (I NEED to go get some boerewors and we only buy it from one place - Joey’s Vleismark (They don’t have a website sadly).
Jirre my day was just made, I got a phone call from a scammer, kept him on the phone almost 20mins by playing dumb. Then right at the end, I just told him my bank would never ask me these details. . . and I will rather phone them directly. But I started making up an id number leaving off numbers so it never works, misspelled the street name and all kinds of bs, made him repeat himself at least 30 times pretending I lost my hearing aid

Tuesday.
First day since the start of this wave of load shedding that we’ll have a full day of electricity. If the schedule stays the same. How long has it been now? Four weeks? Feels longer.

Morning all, up way to early, slept badly and now we are waiting to hear what time to meet the gp at dad’s facility. He apparently was very sleepy yesterday and has a swollen eye.

So my week started off with a bunch of essential meetings over two days, namely with C-level execs, and meeting the CEO and CPO.
Yesterday the last on my agenda was a 1:1 with the CPO (Chief Product Officer) who oversees the entire product portfolio and is the person to whom my boss reports to. Anyway, in closing his one comment blew me away when he mentioned that I am the first real UXer that he has met within the global organisation and looks forward to working more with me and seeing/hearing what I have to offer and my ideas.
