Making my way to Western Union agent today as freelance work seems to ramping up and accepting international payments in USD.

I do remember that everyone recommended https://wise.com/ to receive the payments however.

macos doesnt have all the apps or the games as windows but its just so friggin pretty, it just needs a proper file manager then it would be perfect.

You should look up www.reddit.com/r/unixporn They have a rule, that no submissions of stock desktop, with just the wallpaper changed. Makes you think you’re using a cave painting screen with a few rocks for keyboard and mouse.

I don’t necessarily agree. I’ve used OSX in various flavours over the years and once initial wow factor wears off, I’ve actually found Windows to be a bit more productive for my line of work. I multitask much better in Windows than on Mac and with WSL2 I have a formidable shell terminal that, together with PowerShell, equals or even surpasses anything Mac can offer.

Ive been stuck on high sierra for a number of years now as that is the highest os the cheessgrater could run as it doesnt have a metal capable gpu, the radeon 5770 in there is yonks old, recently switched to a 2018 i3 mac mini running monterey and its a shitload better than high sierra, windows tend to hide alot of features under unecessary menus, on macos its just there where you expect it to be. All the forced updates and restarts introduced in windows 10 onwards are just annoying imo.

Actually, Windows got a lot better with their restarts. Before you needed to reboot for every small driver change, now you can update big things like GPU drivers without rebooting.
I have not had enough exposure to MacOS to make a properly informed decision, but I am VERY happy with Windows.
