Good morning everyone.
So turns out that our neighbour is the chef for Daily Dish and provided us with a sample meal. Needless to say, the ingredients were fresh and everything was packaged with care. The ingredients were of good quality and honestly, I think provide great value. The meal was enough for all four of us with a little to spare for my kid for lunch the next day.
They looking for streamers to do ads for them by any chance?
(I’m pretty much jk, you guys are my only South African viewers)
FTFY.
Wow, you guys really get around!
greetings
Yeah, I often get those too. Normally from “DHL” or “AWS (Amazon).”
Also, now that I have a legal car again and an official CAA registered driver. What provider for vehicle insurance are you okes using or recommend?
I want comprehensive cover, wondering if I should stick to Discovery for the cashback incentives for not driving, or driving cautiously. Granted I don’t use Vitality and they weren’t exactly the cheapest quote coming in at >R600pm.
P.S. What are the identifiers for Western Cape registration numbers, CA, CAA, CY, etc.?
CAA replaced CA
Cy is bellville

Hello legends!
I changed off of Discovery recently. The only participating garage for the fuel cash back is some way out of my way, so the money coming back to me just never really materialized. The system is also loaded against you quite a bit, for example your annual roadworthiness check which is worth a few point could expire, and nothing in the fancy smart app would remind you to go and do it. The dongle recording your driving behavior would stop working, and you’ll only figure it out when weeks later you realize you’re not getting any points. It just feels like the system doesn’t really want to help you maximize your safety which should reduce risk, which they supposedly want to do.
So when my wife bought a car earlier in the year, I got quotes for all of our insurance consolidated, and it came out quite a bit cheaper at Old Mutual. So much so that my budget did not change with the wife’s new car added on. Since I’ve got one retirement account with Disco and one with Ole Mute, I’m getting benefits with either one of them.
Life insurance stayed with Discovery, though, but I think that’s just my broker not dealing with life insurance specifically. Also got health and banking with them, so its enough to still attract some benefits.
Good morning everyone.
