Its already warming up here

Also food lovers is dangerous… They have a R10 sale on a few items, so we grabbed stuff and then saw this new special, a rotisserie chicken, 3 small salads and 6 hamburger rolls for R100. Sadly the chicken is tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny! No idea how they feed 4 people on that little chicken

Aaah the joys of school holidays. My lounge is full of kids from the complex and they’re all sitting playing 4-players split screen Minecraft and my little one is on my phone laying with them.

So, I’ve had the most stressful couple of months, and I believe it is finally over!

We start off when my wife and I bought a new house. Our dream house full of awesome things, but it meant I had to seël my revious house. And that took time. More than I could’ve afford to be honest. Still had to pay that bastard for 4 months since moving out of it. Also in this time, just as our new house got registered, my wife lost her job. And my daughter had some issues with a pneumonia that toolonger to shake off. That and the many things that had to be fixed in the new house was financially taxing and stressing me out extremely. Add a baby that does not sleep through the night, and normal stresses from launching a new software platform at work, things got bad.

Today, the old house registration came through, and the money will be paid over this week. Also today, my wife got a job offer and she’s starting next week. And last night my daugher almost slept through and have been all well for over a week now!

Môre mense!

:grinning::wave:

(Should there be an accent mark somewhere in “more”? And if it’s “môre” isn’t that “tomorrow” and not “morning”? Or is it a same-same thing?)

It is indeed môre,
Tyd tussen die nag en die volle dag of tussen dagbreek en twaalfuur.

Good day people of the palace have a good one

POWER - one word, 2 opposite meanings

English - physical might
Afrikaans - weak, meagre, unimpressive

Side note, when looking for an Afrikaans dictionary online to get the concise meaning of power, Google showed me this:
