Spare a thought for us in KZN today, with temps in the upper 30’s. Normally it wont be so bad but the humidity on top for extra spicyness could be deadly!

And we’ve had so much rain up here that the Vaal and Blomhof dams are overflowing, the Vaal River is bursting its banks, and folks are being flooded out of their homes.

Ironically the rain was almost a blessing - the N1 was moving this morning took 45 mins to get to Rondebosch Common…
Then another 45mins to get the last few km to the office…

The AC in my 7 year old’s class is bust. Has been from end of last year. I have been letting the school know my exact thoughts, but being a business, there is a lot of red tape.
Anywhoo, I took a spare floor fan to her class today as the poor little ones might die! And the thanks I get? The school gate closed on my car!!!
I am lucky it only hit the mirror, and broke out the glass, as a door impact could have been far worse.
