Hi all.
Is anyone pedantic about their screens? Sometimes I see little watermarks on it, presumably from talking and such. Or fingerprints, DON’T touch my screen—or perhaps even just a hair or dust. People in the office think I’m crazy and OCD because I can clean my screen multiple times during a meeting.

My neighbours were playing in the water this morning. They’re pensioners.
I’m in the lowest section of this part of my suburb, so a canoe would help. Requested sandbags from the municipality. Fortunately the rain stopped 8cm short of the height of the stoep. Thank god the recent renovations had good angle for runoff, else I’d be well and truly fucked. There’s about a rulers depth of water in the gravel road in front of the driveway. Yeah south coast near Betty’s bay got hit hard.
Naturally the fuggin power is off and Eskom can’t get to fix anything yet, cos half the mountain decides to squat on the roads… both access roads.
Not the end of the world though. We have internet and a puzzle to finish

My parents recounted similar problems in Kleinmond. I saw some pictures of the bridge by Botrivier that collapsed. And Clarence Drive is closed past Rooi Els as well. Good luck that side.
