Good Sunday! Decided to take advantage of the great Cape weather we have today and have a braai. So my boy is playing in the garden and digging up rocks, pretending they are dinosaur bones, while I toast the meat on the fire and rock out to some music we both enjoy. Luckily he’s also a rocker and metalhead, so our tastes align nicely.
I must say that I started feeling really depressed the past couple of weeks and the grey and wet weather we had most definitely contributed to it. Some vitamin D, blue skies and fresh air is definitely helping and I feel like a new person today.

Yeah, we had a blast too. Took the family up to Melkbossie.
P.S. my oldest isn’t crying, just had bad allergies.

We ended the afternoon at Bloubergstrand for a sundowning game of “the waves are lava”. Then a milkshake in the car on our way home. ‘Twas a very good day indeed.
