When the warehouse software you have tested shows a R1.4 mil difference in what should be there after 2 months of operation, its pucker time in the testing department.

What percentage of total holding is that, though? If the warehouse stores R5MM of things, big trouble. If it’s R500MM, not all that much. Worth looking at, but more likely a people and process error.

Turns out it was a calculation that was not included in the specification, which means I did not test for it. I love that I am a complete and utter drill sergeant when it comes to specifications. If I don’t get them, I don’t test for em. I feel for the BA who did not put it in the spec though.

I often need to write specs for our developers, and I hate having to do it… but I completely understand why it’s there. I’ve witnessed projects with no spec, and the chaos that follows. I’ve had to fix projects with no spec… I’ll keep working my kak spec until the dev is happy.
It also forces a clueless client to actually sit down and write out their own fsking process! It’s insane how often process details live in one person’s meatblob, and companies are just fine with that.

Urgh, getting so frustrated with my phone constantly rebooting, freezing, or just being unresponsive.
My Strava tracking wasn’t recorded as a result of my phone randomly restarted while on routine.

Anyone here have experience making Android apps that involve image processing/colour filtering? I wanna make a little app just for myself where you can select a photo or open the camera and it applies a very specific set of colour filters to the image. Basically, I want to make a doggovision filter, so I can see how Sydney sees things in our daily life.
There’s one animal vision app but according to reviews it is not scientifically accurate.
