Back home.

Home is where you poop most comfortably.

Indeed! When I’m out for only a day or 2, I seldom if ever poop. It’s as if my body knows to wait until I get home to relieve itself.

@Wyvern our Nespresso machine is now doing the same as what yours did.

Very little water coming out of the Lungo side. How did you fix yours? I followed guides on resetting it but it didn’t work.

edit

And our shower door broke. It was just one of those days.

Lol @Solitude, you deprogrammed it, you do is run a cycle no coffee just water but keep the button pressed until you reach the lev of coffee you want in the mug. Then let go.

So the past few days with dad was a bit of a nightmare. On Thursday morning we arrived for a visit and he looked worse than when they admitted him. They did all kinds of tests, believed he aspirated on some of the yogurt or soup they gave him. He was running a fever of over 39.4, and they took him for more tests and scans including a new one for his brain.

They discovered an infection in the site where the chest tube was, and the ct scan showed his brain swelling hasn’t gone down by much, the hematoma on the right lobe looked better, but his body was not absorbing the brain bleed as they hoped it would.

So yesterday morning they decided to take dad in for burr holes to relieve the pressure. But they also decided the chest tube was ready to come out. The way the internist spoke to us we thought dad was dying and even discussed his DNR. But overnight between Thursday and Friday the fever broke, and they found that in the medical ward he was not kept in a raised position so he developed wet lungs, in the high care ward they had him elevated so he started waking up but was so confused and sleepy.

They did the surgery and since I was working mum and Nima went to see him, they thought he woud still be sedated and on a bent but nope, he was almost sitting, moving his arms and feet, eyes wide open. When they walked in they each got a huge smile.

He answered questions, slowly but in sentences not just a word here and there. This evening, he talked to me a little - no smile and he kept asking for my brothers.

But he has some short term memory issues, but from his convo
, we think his long term memory is there but will take some time to settle and see what is really going on.
