Hello there! (It is still Saturday, so no day missed!)
Good morning everyone.
Morning all
Can confirm, it’s morning! Hello everybody.
Morning all
Good morning fellow travellers
And just like that, as if by magic, the weird is I’ve * and it’s Monday again
* I typed “the weekend is over”. I told you dark forces are at play here…
Why is it monday?
Can it not be a loooooooooooooong weekend?
I need more time off
It was a busy weekend, went to Bakoven just for a few hours on sat and then had to drive back there late yesterday evening because the house my partner’s parents was renting alarm kept going off and his step dad forgot his braai tools there and we had to go collect it.
It was just a massively long drive since the traffic due to the cape town marathon was mental (saw 4 cars with burnt out clutches on Kloofnek!)
Good morning everyone.
Many greetings of goodness to all who pass this way!
Look at this grumpy ol’ git
…looks like Carl from Up.
Oh hai people
Busy organising our year end event - we are doing an amazing race event at Century city
Good morning MEW

Morning folks!
So it has been a crazy week and a half. Packing, packing, packing. Have a trash heap literally 5 cubic meters in size. Have donated a LOT of stuff. Renovations begin today!!
On Friday night I was just walking and my knee decided to protest by giving way under me. Agony, whole knee and lower leg and foot swelled up. On Monday I had an appointment with a specialist physiotherapist GP, did an ultrasound. Turns out I dislocated my kneecap (subluxated my patella) and it popped back in again almost immediately, so twice the pain in one go. Tons of free fluid in my knee, plus a little shard of bone probably from my kneecap. But! Nothing torn, no surgery needed, but I do have to stay off it as much as possible.
So I am supposed to be flat on my back with my leg elevated for several days, but the house isn’t finished yet… So we made me a mobile leg elevation setup and I lie on my back, leg in the air, and sort through things brought to me. A friend jumped in to help us with carrying things around and up/down the stairs.
My foot is mostly back to a normal size but lying with my leg elevated feels really good, the relief is palpable.
Anyway, renovations start today at the old house ! I am excited. Hopefully we can get tenants in by December or January. Woop!
