I am just worried about the pumpkins’ stringiness. I’m not sure how much blending they may require, but we’ll see. I’m looking forward to it.

I am considering a baked pumpkin cheesecake.

I don’t know how heat affects pumpkin and their associated pie creation, but prolonged blending will definitely heat it up.

Smaller pumpkins, blending a little at a time, adding a bit of water if needed seem to be good suggestions.

Butternut is better for sure, purees a lot easier, you just have to watch the water content.
